We’ve always had a soft spot for Robyn (ever since a kids breakfast TV interview with her pop star pre-incarnation, conducted by yours truly) and her ‘Body Talk’ album deserved every plaudit it got. Now we’re getting all hot and bothered about a new mini-album with Röyksopp, the title track being the above-remixed ‘Do It Again’.
All stirring stuff.
A huge thank you to all that came down to Canavan’s for our latest instalment of Human Drizzle Presents on Friday night – we were blown away by the fine array of sets thrown down, leading from the top with the superlative Dauwd. More info and a selection of snaps from the night to follow shortly.
But it is a new week and there’s a load of new music that we want to share. Primarily Mr Hugo Manuel aka Chad Valley’s new side project, Turks & Caicos. Unsure as to why he created a new alias, it’s more of the same sun-kissed tones we’ve come to expect from Chad Valley. But we’re not gonna complain when it’s this good.
