Kyla La Grange – The Knife (Krystal Klear Remix)

We like Kyla round these parts and had no doubts over her excellent tastes. She hasn’t let us down:

She’s enlisted Manc-based Madtech affiliate and well-known party-starter Krystal Klear to do the business on ‘The Knife’, her latest single ahead of album ‘Cut Your Teeth’. It’s a banger, hat-tip to Thump for putting it out there.

Special mentions also go to his Boiler Room and Blood Orange remix, same high qual, trust:

Human Drizzle Presents – Special Guest Announcement

HD_april_flyer_digital_FINALTomorrow night – us, you, a recently re-decked dancefloor and a mighty fine line-up of DJs laying down some tasty tunes for you to wiggle your tails to.

But wait, THERE’S MORE.

All you lucky ticket holders are in for a treat as today we announce our SURPRISE SPECIAL GUEST for the night. We have the first ever set from AZ&TOR’s new side project, Kalyde. Rich Main is one half of the MadTech Records duo: he presses the buttons as TOR, whilst AZ provides the lung power.*

Well, he’s about to press a lot more with releases out this month on both Universal and Zed Bias’s brand spanking new label, Biasonic. Applebottom‘s behind the debut release on said label and Kalyde is on remix duties. Watch this space as his new solo alias gets heavily touted.

As if Kompakt’s Dauwd playing a set on his home territory wasn’t enough? There’s a lot of fun to be had tomorrow night so if you don’t have a ticket, do the right thing:

Az&Tor – Carry Mine (The Golden Boy Remix)

Vibes-a-plenty on this new remix from The Golden Boy. We know little about the Birmingham-based producer, but it’s certainly worth shedding some light on Az&Tor. Having had a coupla releases on MadTech now, most recent ‘Sit Back’ EP seems to be picking up the hype the duo deserve. Original ‘Carry Mine’ is our pick of the bunch. Although it’s a sound not too dissimilar from the silky electronica of the likes of Disclosure and SBTRKT, there’s some top vocals in there from Aisha Zoe, aka Az, we guess. Makes the tune stand out from the crowd. We’d like to hear more:

Two further remixes on the EP worth giving a go as well. One from No Artificial Colours, one from Polkadot:
