The House Of Disco brand has long been affiliated with unearthing fresh disco and house music. Whether it’s the events they hold, their compilations or the releases on the label, it’s more often than not of a very high standard indeed.
Their most recent EP comes from London-based Sixth Avenue Express and is certainly worth checking out. Five tracks in total, each one beautifully exploring the deeper side of house music. The chugging tempo of all the tracks are a perfect backdrop for the resonant vocals and woozy basslines to shine. There’s a warmth to this EP that should be most welcome as those of us in the UK enter chillier times.
As a bonus, the EP’s closer ‘Deeper Love’ is free to download. The gospel-flavoured track is a standout, so be sure not to miss out on that one.
