Human Drizzle: The Playlist, March 2016

Short and sweet playlist this month, with loadza good new music to get your teeth into over the Easter bank holiday weekend.

A strong return to the game from David August, Lindstrom and Detroit Swindle. New labels from Kidnap Kid and South London radio/party No Bad Days, a sparkling remix from Four Tet and dreamy cuts from Seb Wildblood and The Range.

Most noticeably Laurence Guy’s popped up on the blog with a storming start to 2016. In just under two months he’ll be heading things up for our party at the Bermondsey Social Club on Friday 13th May. More details on that intimate affair here.

For now, tuck into this and enjoy x

Detroit Swindle – Hows Music

Detroit Swindle are back bringing the NRG with this funky, high-tempo cut from their forthcoming ‘In Reverse’ EP. It’s out on 29th February on their flourishing Heist Recordings label, stay tuned for the three tracks that accompany it.

Detroit Swindle – Break Up To make up EP

Lars and Maarten of Detroit Swindle are hot right now. White hot. They’re back again with the ‘Break Up To Make Up’ EP, which is the début release on their very own label, Heist Recordings. The second track on the EP – ‘The Make Up’ – is a slice of summer house perfection, causing anyone who listens to it to do this uncontrollably for hours until they pass out. Probably. As you may have noticed from our inability to stop posting about them (ladies and gentlemen of the jury, exhibits A and B) we really cannot get enough of these two. It’s even stopped bothering us that they’re not from Detroit. We hope the preview tides you over until Monday, when you can get your mitts on the full shebang.
