Roosevelt – Fever

Not long now until this guy’s debut album finally drops on Greco-Roman (August 19th to be precise), and ‘Fever’ is further proof the Cologne-based producer knows how to pen a feel-good tune.

Roosevelt – Colours (Prins Thomas Diskomiks)

Tiding things over nicely until the big release of his debut album in August, Roosevelt’s recruited Prins Thomas to lend his remixing skills to recent single, ‘Colours’. As expected the Norwegian producer has stretched it out to over eight minutes of balearic goodness.

Roosevelt’s self-titled album will be out via Greco-Roman/City Slang on 19th August, after his recently-announced DJ slot at Glasto and before his recently-announced DJ slot at Bestival.

Roosevelt – Colours/Moving On

One of our favourite Colognian producers Roosevelt has finally unveiled plans to release his debut album. ‘Night Moves’ will drop on 19th August courtesy of the UK’s Greco-Roman and Berlin’s City Slang Records.

To mark its launch Roosevelt released the above video which includes two new singles ‘Colours’ and ‘Moving On’. Both tracks encorporate his Balearic, feel-good sound and set the tone nicely for what should be a successful mid-summer LP release. It’s been a long time coming (he could easily be the most-featured artist on HD, we’ve been watching the lad intently since the end of 2012…)

Jax Jones – Yeah Yeah Yeah (Roosevelt Remix)

Just over a week after Roosevelt dropped his last remix, the Cologne-based producer is back with this gem. He’s taken on Jax Jones’ new single ‘Yeah Yeah Yeah’ and given it a summer makeover, bongo drums ‘n all. Lead single’s out Friday on Polydor.

Sundara Karma – Flame (Roosevelt Remix)

Fresh from bringing a flurry of good vibes to Greco-Roman’s label party at Electrowerkz last week, we’re treated to yet more feel-good sounds from Roosevelt.

He’s added an ounce of bounce to ‘Flame’, the new single by Chess Club’s recent signing Sundara Karma, and in doing so our favourite producer from Cologne continues to shine, taking easy listening to new levels.

Roosevelt – Hold On

The go-to man to soundtrack sunnier climes is back on the scene as the summer steps it up a gear…

‘Hold On’ joins ‘Night Moves’ as t’other half of Roosevelt’s new double A-side which is due for release on Greco-Roman on 10th July. More fun vibes from the Cologne-based producer to add to an ever-increasing catalogue of goodness. Here’s some he did earlier:

Roosevelt – Night Moves

Summer is coming and so begins our annual binge on Roosevelt’s sunny vibes. The man from Cologne has gifted us with a new tune jammed with his usual balearic drums, slinky synths and his very own airy vocals. It makes for a sultry listen:

Marius Lauber himself described ‘Night Moves’ as being based on ‘that moment of the night where all kinds of lost souls realise they’re in a boat together’.  Have a listen and get in the boat, all the best people are there.

P.S. If you fancy having a little dance to this one live, then get yourself to Lincolnshire’s Lost Village festival on May 23rd-24th, looks set to be a cracker.

Luca Vasta – Black Tears White Lies (Roosevelt Remix)

The sun’s shining, who you gonna call…

Roosevelt’s back with yet another excellent remix. He’s taken Berlin’s Luca Vasta’s ‘Black Tears White Lies’ and soaked it in summer vibes, as per. If you close your eyes, you can practically smell the coconut oil from here.

He’s also lined up all of his ace remixes on one Soundcloud set for your listening pleasure. It’d be rude not to:

Head over here for a few of his originals too.

Truls – Out Of Yourself (Roosevelt Remix)

You can always rely on long-standing HD fave, Roosevelt.

He’s been called up for remix duties on Universal’s recent signing Truls’ upcoming single, ‘Out Of Yourself’. He’s turned it into the kind of catchy, summery electro-pop that we’ve come to expect from the Cologne-based producer – without doubt one of the most consistent out there.

On the more tranquil side, check out his recent cover of John Martyn’s 1977 track ‘Small Hours’ too:
