Duke Dumont – Robert Talking

And we thought he’d gone off the boil.

Duke Dumont is back with four track EP ‘Blasé Boys Club, Pt. 1’, the first instalment of a three-part series. ‘Robert Talking’ is by far our favourite cut. Channelling disco house and guest starring Robert Owens on vocals, it’s an infectious and funky number. Check the rest of the EP here.

Midnight To Monaco – Suicide (Adesse Versions Remix)

Future Classic behind this.

Eric Prydz – Opus (Four Tet remix)

On Friday evening, an excited Kieran Hebdon announced that BBC Radio 1 would be premiering his Four Tet remix of Eric Prydz’ barnstorming stadium-shaker ‘Opus’.

We usually, but not always, have other things to look forward to on a Friday night besides listening to the radio, so we missed it. However, and much to the chagrin of the hyper-loyal Pryda fanbase who can’t even contemplate one of Eric’s tracks being improved by another, the remix was uploaded to Youtube, Facebook et al.

So here it is:

Fairly monstrous. Perhaps avoid an immediate listen if you’re reading this first thing Monday morning.

Four Tet is no stranger to dipping into Prydz’ back catalogue – he played ‘Muranyi’ at Dekmantel earlier this year, during a sensational set we were lucky enough to witness.

No word as of yet on the ‘Opus’ remix getting a release.
