Alright folks. This Saturday 3rd October, the Courtyard Theatre is the place to be. Preferably between the hours of 5pm and midnight.
Wherefore, we hear you ask. Well. Our pals who make up the Moodroom Collective are finally having their first London launch party having run parties all the way oop narth for the last five years.
This excellent mix from one of the ‘MC’-heads is a good taster of what to expect from the collective – with a tracklisting featuring the likes of Frankey & Sandrino, Edu Imbernon and Tale Of Us we were drawn in immediately:
This Saturday they’re taking over the intimate, Grade II-listed theatre space over on Hoxton square and filling it with a Funktion One soundsytem, a shed load of intimate lights and a killer booking in Peter Pardeike of Innervisions fame.

Tickets for this unique event can be bought on RA here. If you wanna tell your pals, have a look at the event on Facebook here too. The lads have teamed up with Avant Garde’s night at Oval Space featuring Weval and Trentemoller. That one should be just starting as the Moodroom Collective finish up shop. Details on the deal on tickets for that on the RA site too.
Aaand finally, check out Peter Pardeike’s recent Muting The Noise podcast to give you an idea of the kind sets he throws down:
