In stores as of this week, ‘Heaven’ is the brand new EP from Bristol-based Thrilogy, the newest recruit to the Wolf Music family.
Consisting of two originals and a remix the whole package has a tasty summer vibe running throughout. Title track ‘Heaven’ has a wonderful mix of soul and house, with its strong gospel vocal and its piano-laden backdrop. Piano plays a big part in ‘Hold me In Your Arms’ too – we’d have no qualms sticking this one on repeat. Last up is a remix of ‘Heaven’ provided by K98. We know little about K98 but he’s packed a punch on this edit. Heavy support on this already, a quick scan online shows Detroit Swindle frequently dropping the tune, and it looks like it didn’t go down too badly at Gottwood either. Expect to hear a lot more of it.
