Joris Voorn remixes

Yesterday, Dutch house ever-present Joris Voorn released a remix album to last year’s long-player ‘Nobody Knows’. You just have to look down the list of affiliated artists to get an idea of the man’s standing on the underground scene, with contributions from Guti, Christian Loeffler, Nightmares On Wax and Matthew Dear.

We’ve picked out our three favourites from the collection: remixes from Kolsch, &ME and Ripperton.

Kolsch’s remix of ‘The Monk’ is a bouncey, up-tempo, almost EDM-like track. &ME takes ‘Homeland’ in a deep tech-house direction, and Ripperton’s influence on ‘Sweets For Piano’ results in a great deep house tune.

This is out on Joris Voorn’s label Green right now and is definitely worth checking out in more detail.
