London producer Bayou is firmly placing himself on that little map some like to describe as chillwave, or dreamy electronica perhaps. But we’re not ones for pigeonholing here, if you give his new track ‘Speedboat’ a spin, it doesn’t take long to appreciate the talent at hand. Everything about the tune’s a little on the sparse side, but the keys, guitar and vocals amble along at a wonderfully measured pace. This is perfect for soundtracking those lazy summer afternoons.
