Human Drizzle: The Playlist, September 2013

August, you spoilt us.

We really were overrun with good tunes from all ends of the (new electronic music) spectrum this month and, as ever, we’ve collated them into one easy Soundcloud playlist for you below, accompanied by our favourite five for you to disagree with. Having ushered in August with the latest instalment of Human Drizzle Presents – props to all who made it, scour this album for new profile pics if you did – we were served delights from unexpected quarters through to old favourites.

Finally, consider this setlist of joy a SAVE THE DATE for the final Human Drizzle Presents of the year on 1st November. We’re heading back south of the river to Peckham Palais for our kind-of-1st Birthday/sort-of-Halloween special with the usual selection of our favourite spinners. Put it in your diary immediately.

And here are our Top 5 tracks of the month:

1. Bondax – Giving It All (Joe Goddard Remix): Wouldn’t expect anything less from Goddard in this brilliant remix. Catch him support the Lancashire duo at their debut London show.

2. Scenic – Shockwaves (Roosevelt Remix): Whole heap of summer goodness in this new remix from Roosevelt. Come check out the Cologne-based producer’s brand spanking new EP, Elliot, over here.

3. P A U L I E – Want You (Clancy Remix): Clancy’s back to fine form with this understated yet euphoric re-work of P A U L I E’s ‘Want You’. Well up for his new EP, coming out soon on Dirt Crew Recordings’ new sub-label, Spiel.

4. Crayon – Give you up (Darius remix): Sunkissed French house to remind us of the good times. Early release on Yuksek‘s new label Partyfine.

5. Banks – Waiting Game: Expect to see even more of this LA lady over the coming months. It’s all sultry vocals and laid-back atmospherics with this one.
