Canada-based producer Hissy Fit has carved out an emotive summer thumper. Remixing West Midlands born Laura Mvula’s ‘She’ with a catchy, garagey beat, excellent sampling and a tune that retains all of the pensiveness of the original.
It’s the first time we’ve posted about Mathew Hiscock’s work, but if you like what you hear, then delve a little deeper and you find the Montrealer has form in the area of tuneful beats, with the title track from last year’s ‘Heat Wave’ EP being a good example.
