Forgive Me Lord For I Have Synth Halloween Thriller @ The Nest, Saturday 26th October

For those of you currently residing, like us, in the capital of the British Isles, this Halloween weekend promises a veritable smörgåsbord of party options for Londoners to get their (possibly fanged) teeth into.

Innervisions x Permanent Vacation are hosting a whopper of a night in a Stratford warehouse (where did they get that idea?) with Dixon, Todd Terje, Tensnake and many more. Meanwhile Solomun heads up another stonking bill down at Cable, with a UK debut for the excellently-named Hot Lunch.

However, if you crave less heftiness in your queue and entrance fee, another night has caught our eye on Saturday. SlothBoogie played a blinder at Human Drizzle Presents on 13.10.12, and he’s put together a tasty line-up for a Halloween special edition of his Forgive Me Lord For I Have Synth night at the Nest.

Showing commendable relevance to the Halloween theme, he has teamed up with Wolf Music (home to HD favourites Waze & Odyssey and PBR Streetgang) to bring you an evening of lupine revelry.

Wolf Music superstar KRL heads things up – this steady Detroit Swindle remix gives you an idea of the kind of sample-heavy, soulful vibes he’ll be bringing to the table:

Wolf Music have a slot themselves – expect more house music with heart and soul (as displayed in the EP they dropped this week):

As for SlothBoogie? If you missed him at our night, you’d be foolish to do so again. In the meantime have a listen to this set from the Nest back in August. It’s a toe-tapper.

Tickets are an absolute snip at £5 and are available here.
