‘She Sleeps’ from FaltyDL’s new LP, ‘Hardcourage’ (available to stream on Resident Advisor here) has been garnering some serious praise for its laid-back feel and well-chosen guest vocalist in Friendly Fires’ Ed MacFarlane. And now it has a slightly more scatter-brained but oh-so-catchy remix from Brooklyn oddballs Gang Gang Dance. Whilst undoubtedly poppier than some of their previous output it still has some of their famous ‘bung-it-at-the-wall and see what sticks’ approach (credit to FACT for the phrasing) that made tunes such as ‘First Communion’ such fun to listen to.
For those of you in the depths of winter, we think this sounds like the Coming of Spring…
